A Stduy on the Stress Urine Incontinence


Abstract
This study was performed to investigate the clinical method for stress urine incontinence(SUI) in Oriental Medicine. Urinary incontinence is defined as in voluntary loss of urine that is a social or hygienic problem. SUI occurs during periods of increased intra-abdominal pressure. The diagnostic method of SUI are hystory taking, physical examination, urinalysis, voiding diary and urodynamic study. In oriental medicine, it can be treated with herbal medicinal treatment and Acupuncture therapy. The most effective medicinal prescriptions were Gongje-hwan and Sangpyocho-san. And the most effective Acupuncture points were CV_4, CV_2, B_28, K_3 and SP_6.
